Leaked Huawei Specifications of Nexus New Device

Google’s new Nexus phones are expected to arrive at the end of the month and the rumors have continually indicated that this year’s LG Nexus will be called the Nexus 5X, and now we have a new rumor putting a new name to the expected Huawei Nexus: the Nexus 6P. Droid Life reports that the pair of Google phones, one made by LG and the other by Huawei, will carry the labels of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.The Nexus 5X is reportedly being developed by LG and would feature a 5.2-inch display, while Huawei’s larger Nexus 6P would pack a 5.7-inch screen. Both phones are expected to be announced alongside a new Chromecast at an event on September 29th.

The Huawei-made Nexus phone has just made an appearance on the GFXbench database. GFX Bench revealed 5.7″ screen with QHD resolution (1,440 x 2,560px), Snapdragon 810 clock @ 1.9 Ghz with 3GB of RAM , Adreno 430 GPU and 32GB of storage. The rear camera is 13MP shooter and front camera has an 8MP sensor. It will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

An earlier report had also claimed that the Huawei-made Nexus might feature a USB Type-C port. The inclusion of USB Type-C support does not come as a surprise however, with the new Nexus smartphones meant to be the platform lead devices for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and Google officially announcing support for the USB specification at I/O 2015.

The leaked images showed the rear camera placed on a bump that stretched along the entire width of the back panel. The primary camera was placed on the top-left side with slightly protruding glass panel on the top.
